Getting to the venue is first off a choice of transportation.

Also be aware that the fabulous Red Dress Run takes place in Aarhus, where as the Venue for Danish Nash Hash is Skanderborg.

Those cities are very close to each other and if you're arriving for the Thursday Red Dress Run in Aarhus you can safely await with the rest of the journey to Skanderborg. There will be plenty of hashers to make arrangements with and this could mean anything from getting a ride to joining fellow hashers on the bus, train or whatever on Friday. And general transportation help can be given if you prefer to travel on your own.

Airports

The second largest airport in Denmark is Billund (BLL) and they have a wide selection of flight companies operating to/from there. KLM and Lufthansa to mention some af the more known ones.

If you arrive at Billund Airport, you can take the Airport Bus 912X. This will take you to both the venue Skanderborg and being the next and last stop also to Aarhus. So wether you are going to the venue or the Red Dress Run this would be your choice of bus. Bus tickets can be bought directly on the bus with creditcard or cash (WHAT).

There is also an Airport a little closer to Aarhus called - shock - Aarhus Airport (AAR).

Your choice of airline is somewhat more limited but SAS are among a few others that operate AAR.

Bus 925X goes directly to Aarhus and travel time is less than a hour. Bus tickets can be bought directly on the bus with creditcard or cash (WHAT).

Aarhus Airport could be handy if you travel with SAS to Copenhagen or if you simply arrive in Copenhagen and cannot be bothered with a 3,5-4 hours train ride.

Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is the biggest airport in Denmark and also serves as kind af a hub for the Nordic. You can go to Aarhus by either plane, train or bus. Listed with the most expensive first and so on. Hiring a car is also an option.

Train

Any train from south or east of the venue and heading towards Aarhus will have a stop at venue city Skanderborg (it's 15 minutes between venue city and Aarhus (Red Dress Run)).

Be aware that train tickets needs to be purchased with an app or at a ticket machine (at the station) BEFORE you enter the train. The app is called Rejsebillet.

Train tickets can also be booked at www.dsb.dk/en/ - try looking for Orange tickets (non-refundable but cheaper than normal), or Orange Fri which can be refunded until 30 minutes before departure.

Train and busses

All but the Flix Bus and Kombardo Expressen (Aarhus <-> Copenhagen) can be planned/viewed on app or webpage: rejseplanen.dk

Rejseplanen has English and German pages besides Danish and will be the most up to date info regarding connections, delays and so on.

Train tickets can also be booked at www.dsb.dk/en/ - try looking for Orange tickets (non-refundable but cheaper than normal), or Orange Fri which can be refunded until 30 minutes before departure.
